Kelly A. Rodkey, 48, of Clearfield and formerly of Curwensville, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.  She was born Nov. 19, 1965, a daughter of Loretta (Anderson) Norris of Curwensville and the late Samuel Norris.

She graduated 10 th in her class with high honors from Curwensville Area High School in the business curriculum. She participated in Curwensville High School Band as a majorette.

She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.

She graduated with an Associate Specialized Business degree in legal secretarial science from the DuBois Area Business College and also from DuBois Penn State as a certified paralegal.  She was employed by Richard Milgrub, Esquire, for more than 25 years.

She was a loving wife and devoted mom to all of her Keeshond puppy dogs. She loved animals, spending time with friends and family, doing outdoor projects, sewing and crocheting, day-trips with her husband and most of all, her beloved Keesy pups.

She’s survived by her husband, Matthew D. Rodkey, whom she wed Aug. 12, 1989. They just celebrated their 25 th anniversary this year.

She’s survived by her

bereaved mother, Loretta (Anderson) Norris of Curwensville; her Keeshond, Herbie; her parents-in-law, John David and Joyce Rodkey; her sisters-in-law, Teryl Cartwright, Janean Rodkey and Gwynn Crichton; her grandmother-in-law, Hesterbell Smith; her nephew and niece, Joshua and Rebekah; her uncles, Joe and George Anderson; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam G. Norris III; her grandparents, Gib and Vida Norris and Blair and Charlotte Anderson; her brother-in-law by marriage, the Rev. Dr. Thomas K. Cartwright; her grandfather-in-law, Paul G. Smith; her grandparents-in-law, Robert and Eugenia Rodkey; and her Keeshonds, Eli, Simon and Rudy.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Richard Barkley officiating.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Keeshond Club of America, Pennsylvania Division by visiting; the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21 st St. Clearfield, or to Orphans of the Storm, Peggy Sass, 223 Hill St. Curwensville.
